Matt and Lynette,

I shared with MaryAnn my absolute pride when our home won 5 gold awards at the 2007 Tommie Awards ceremony in Kelowna.
 
This is a testament to the quality of the home Rivendell has provided to us. Sometimes you question your own sanity as to whether or not you are doing the right thing when you embark upon the venture of building a home of this magnitude.
 
When one reflects back on the process that we utilized and how we developed the vision and then made the vision a reality, we could not have asked for a better result pertaining to functionality, value and maintainability. Thus, Rivendell was the builder of choice and proved they were up to the challenge.
 
Obviously, the being recognized at the Tommy Awards with 5 gold results also have conveyed the same perception.
 
We really appreciated your personal dedication and time to create our vision and working with us in the collaborative manner that was well appreciated.
 
Most importantly the effort that was expended to tell the story of our collective success to Kelowna was no minor effort. For this we also thank you for spending the time and personal commitment to achieve the results at the Tommy Awards.
 
In closing, we can both be proud we survived the journey in creating a significant legacy that will set some tough targets to beat in the home building industry for years to come.

Building a new custom home from scratch can be a daunting experience. Living in Calgary while building in Penticton was even scarier…
